The Augmented Reality - AR application for selected films by Michalis Kakogiannis will show important audio-visual material from the filming as well as clips of the films in places where they were filmed. The scenes from the films presented are the following: "Stella", "Zorbas", "The Last Lie". A total of 9 selected points of interest with scenes from movies have been digitally marked with augmented reality technologies.
The user can download the application to their own mobile device and through options and a map marking the points of interest be guided to the location of the scene. Then by opening his camera to access the augmented content, e.g. in the movie "Stella" filmed in 1955, the place where the scene of Stella's murder was filmed, that characteristic for that time, tristrato, is located at the junction of Kallidromiou, Plaputa and Tsamadou streets in Exarchia.
