I've had Mealpal since 2019, and I generally had no issues. However, that has changed. I reactivated after getting a job in the city again and chose a lower tier to test the app and food options. it went OK, and I exhausted all of my credits. Knowing that this assignment was ending and not needing the service anymore, I attempted to cancel. There is no cancel option. Only an option to suspend the account, and instead of suspending like I asked. They charged me for more credits. wth?

It is not worth it anymore. Made up savings: Some of the savings shown seem made up (eg, 21% saving on a retail price of $19. when the actual retail price is $16 or $17) Money hungry: I put my account on hold while I was traveling, and they charged me for 2 months in span of couple of days when I removed the hold.

Good price, but they added a feature to charge an extra dollar per meal, it's called a tip, and there's no confirmation screen, so if you click it by mistake, too bad (customer support said I have to click the right box). Anyway, decent price on food, gotta be careful about tip, bad customer support - not just my case, but a friend got ripped off when promotion didn't get applied.
