英國一項統計數字發現，全英有脫髮問題的男性超過千萬，其中一半年屆50，換言之，有5百萬卻是50歲以下，中國在幾個大城市亦曾經做過脫髮調查，教人意外的是，有脫髮煩惱的男性竟有2億之數。
