Liver-Note is a medical app for hepatic surgery which allows you to make notes on a 3D organ model and share data with your colleagues and patients.
The app allows radiologists, surgeons and the entire team to accurately position lesions inside a 3D liver model. The lesions are easily and intuitively as well as usefully displayed, especially in more complex cases, such as multiple lesions.
Another useful function is the one which allows the surgeon to detect landmarks, i.e. the biliary tract and blood vessels.
This app also simplifies and facilitates communication between healthcare workers and patients, especially when it comes to obtaining informed consent.
Data is managed on a device (smartphone or tablet) and shared when needed among the workers before, during and after surgery, in both on- and offline mode.
Furthermore, Liver-Note is suitable both for professors and surgery or radiology students to follow their lectures and practice on case studies.
