I missed a few doses of my meds and decided against using regular calendar alerts. I found this app and I'm really glad I did! It was so easy to set up and customize. I agree that, if you've taken a dose late, it would be nice if it would set back your next doses but that would be making a great app do all the thinking for you! I've only used it for a few days but so far, very good!
This is not a perfect app, but it comes close enough to get the job done. First you enter all your medications, vitamins, anything into the app. They have importing RX from CVS/Walgreens. Then say how often you are supposed to take it, set the time, and Bob's your uncle. Reminders pop up audibly, and you can set a medifriend to get alerts if you miss a dose. I'm using it post surgery and it made tracking the 8+ meds and stuff I need throughout the day on easy mode. Note: to have more than one medifriend or change the alert tone, you need to pay 2.99 a month.
June 19 - Since the last update it doesn't seem to be registering all of the "taken" doses. I have multivitamin reminders set up and I snoozed the first one for 2 hours and when it went off the second time I selected taken and submitted, but the app went off a while later to remind me to take it again. This has been going on every time I hit snooze which can be multiple times a day since I can't take vitamins on an empty stomach. Could someone take a look at this? Other than that LOVE the app.
I really like this app since I always forget to take my meds. With is kinda weird cause I've taken them for years and it's quite a few. But I've noticed that the app do sent have "antidepressants" in its list. Or any bipolar meds. Or bpd , makes it look like all the metal health meds aren't there
This app is great. I am able to have all my Med info in 1 spot. Makes going to the Doctors office much easier. And love the different reminder tones. Thanks ya'll, Great app
Handy but it needs to have limits for pills like painkillers so they are not taken too frequently. For example, paracetamol is up to 2per dose no less than 4 hours apart. I set this up but mum had a late dose as she resists taking so many pills. Then her next reminder came 2 hours later as initially created but not adjusted for the previous dose being registered as taken only 2 hours. This is how people overdose
