"Awkward Guests" is a boardgame of mystery, deduction and cards, in which each case recreates, in a completely different manner, the night when Mr. Walton was murdered. The players must take on the investigation and, through simple logic reasoning, find out the culprit, the motive, and the weapon of the crime.

Ratings and reviews

In the short time they had, under pressure from backers to release quickly, this app is excellent. There is no need for a tutorial because it's very clear how to use the app. it looks and feels professional. The only slight niggle at the moment is the lack of memory for what cards are given out in the solo change. I guess this was to simulate being passed old cards, as might happen with real players. But as the game progresses the chance of getting info on something you need becomes too small

The app does what it need, but still have bug. On one of my phone, if i took too long to search for the cards, the phone goes in to lock screen, when i got back to the game (first round); the 6 cards have changed. Or when i lock my phone the initial 6 cards also changed. It also happen on round 2, keep going back to the room or character choices option, if the phone goes in to lock screen.

Overall very solid and functional. I think it needs some sort of list of played cases, so I don't have to worry that the app is going to repeat a case I have already played and I just won't notice.
