Meganoid gets most of it’s inspiration from 80s and 90s games, the pixel-art graphic style is on purpose!

** THIS GAME IS NOT EASY!

Each challenging level can be completed within a minute of gaming, making the pace of the game pretty fast, but many levels require multiply tries to complete. New levels will be added in updates!

** GAME PLAY!

- complete a level
- level within the time limit = earn a star + achievement
- level with all diamonds = earn a star + achievement
- 2 stars unlocks Sarge mode! Collect all diamonds in Sarge mode to unlock 3rd star!

** GAME STYLE

Meganoid comes in full 8bit retro pixelart style, complete with chiptune and sound effects, we love this style, and it fits the genre!

Another classic I thought the sequel was hard, this seems harder. I don't understand the point of having lives and being taken back to the main menu, probably why it isn't in the sequel. Great art design as always and xperia play controls are superb. Keep up the amazing work orange pixel. Rethink: I am now stuck on the last level and loving it. I understand why the extra lives are in the game now. Added a star because the game still hasnt lost its interest.

Best New NES game of the decade. I would have begged any kid that had this game in 1992 to let me play. The game is incredibly hard, but no harder than Mega Man 2, and unlike that game all these levels are short without any boss battles. The game is very good at letting you enjoy paying video games in as big or little a time frame as you choose. With hundreds of levels I am sure I will be playing it for months. It is also every bit as good, if not better than the best of the Mega Man games. If this was 1992 this would be one of the best games of all time. Played on a Nexus 7 with no bugs. And it is free. Wow.

Solid side scroller This game was well though out, well executed and shows a care for gaming. Small learning curve and even with touch controls the awkwardness is minimal. Lovely retro graphics and a soundtrack that fits this games feel very well. The games progression gives the gamer an easy to grasp control set up without limiting things like power ups and weapons without changing the controls.

A nice action platformer When all other heroes are unavailable Meganoid must get into the fray. Unfortunately, he's unarmed and outnumbered... However with a lot of wits and some clever gymnastics he can overcome any obstacles in his way. An action, puzzle, platformer if ever there was one. It has all the megaman spirit and a little bit of cavestory aesthetics, making the environment stimulating and yet not getting in the way of its pits, foes and traps. Meganoid is quite a fun challenging experience not to be missed by retro-game and platform lovers alike.

Add interrupt gameplay For a free game that's this good, I get that ads are necessary. But do you really need to have an ad pop up WHILE you're running a level?? I lost a life on more than one occasion purely due to an ad interrupting the gameplay. Look into that, will you? Also, the precision is a bit lacking. A pixel can sometimes make the difference between life or death.

#1 game on Android This game is screams NES. It has brought amazing, fast paced, platforming gameplay on android devices. Fantastic 8-bit graphics that bring back some old memories of those retro games we all know and love. And the best thing about it is that the game is Free! I definitely recommend this game to any fan of the old school games.

Now i know why they call it meganoid Mega for megaman cuz of gameplay and anoid cuz it annoying when you cant pass the level. But overall great game if your into nes games

Impossible! So fun but is so retro and different the next lvl to impossible very fun some gitfh and great game but there are 2 things that bug me. A:why is it so hard?!?!? I NOW NES 1985 type is like impossible and this is like mega man 2 not HARDER but it's getting YOU so mad. B. I'm very happy that fix this in #2 lose 3 lives? Go back to background press "play" chose lvl press "play" AGAIN think about it... Remember that I told you that game so hard... yea think about the last leavl! Lose 3 lives press "play" "play"

Good game So I guess they still do make em like they used to. Having scanlines as an option too. I even downgraded back to 4.1 to use the Wii controller. Only complaint is when you hit the trigger button it exits.

Great Game! Ever since I got this game I couldn't stop playing. The game is truly the one of the best games I've played ever over my Xbox and and any other console. I recommend this game for anyone that's a gamer or gets bored during anytime of the day. I'm on level 66 and every section I go up the game just gets harder and more difficult to stop playing well thank you and continue the great work!

Great game good controls Great game loads of fun. Controls on Asus Tf101 are perfect however on the Galaxy S3 they are spotty and a little imprecice. Fanrastic game

Mega-fun! Meganoid is mobile platforming perfection. Mixing elements from Megaman and Mario to create possibly the finest platform game i've played on a phone. It plays like a dream, has suitably charming retro graphics, a cheery tune & loads of fun. Orangepixel does it again!! 5 Stars

Well-rounded The controls were simple to use and the levels were always challenging. The game never got boring XD
