The newest update broke the app. You removed the option to remove units from the site. Which is really frustrating as a contractor trying to commission these. Takes forever to load. Constantly says you aren't connected to WiFi when you are. Have to close it and reopen every time you make a change as it locks up after every change. Very unhappy.
A slow buggy app. Latest update is even worse. Many implementation basics are missing, e.g. doesn't even cache data from units. Programming functionality is really clunky. Very difficult for installers to initially configure.
Works reliably but takes longer to connect than my other smart apps (A/V, lights, garage, etc). Oddly the unit remote grants access to more features than this app. Would like to see widgets able save common-use to my phones home screen.
Very glitchy app.
Functional, but needs improvement Need CURRENT temp display as well as SET temp display on zone overview screen, not just individual zone screens. Would be better if app adopts capability to operate on LOCAL network when app can access local WiFi and via cloud when away from local network - many home control apps use this functionality to improve performance and reliability. Would also be great if app could track operational time, maintenance, humidity, temp, etc... over time. Lots could be done to make this app so much MORE than a simple remote BUT AT MINIMUM IT SHOULD OFFER SAME FUNCTIONALITY AS THE REMOTE!!! I have four HE2 systems installed for 6 months now and was going to put in four more because the SYSTEMS are great BUT app is critical for control of my large property. This app is bad enough that I will shop other brands before putting in another Mitsubishi system.
Just got the system installed on Friday 4/7/17 the installation team ..yes team because they both were trying to get the dang thing to link with my WiFi..we called Mitsubishi who gave us some help..but after 2hours of overtime that the installers were on I gave up and sent them home..they're due to return next week to try again. I'm also trying to do it on my own..so far one out of three zones where found and linked and I was able to name it...I'll repost if the other two are successful...If not Mitsubishi look forward to a call..find another app. HERE'S MY UPDATE.... as of 04/11/17..the app finally found the zones and linked up. I was able to name each of the zones I am now satisfied.
