The design is great and the functionality is just what I need. But, it's hard to add all my books manually since barcode is not working. At least add an option to add them with ISBN. Also having multiple "shelves" for different books world be nice. EDIT: The manual search & barcode mysteriously started working now (Maybe it was a server problem before). Not all my books could be scanned but managed to find the remaining just by typing the name so it's okay. Rating 5/5 now, but would appreciate an update for multiple shelves.
Decent but, needs more features! I have been using this app for an year now. My most pressing concern is that I am not able to search books by filtering for author alone and also that I cannot add multiple books at a time! For example of what I am talking about have a look at the "Series Guide" app. It let's you search for shows also allows you to add multiple shows at a time! Do this and I would give you 5 stars.
Needs more features Please check out goaltracker app. It has good feature to set goal for book to be finished on specific date, than app calculates nr. of pages you need to read per day, and adjusts the nr. based on how many you've read on previous day. The only issue I have with it, is you can't just put in the current page, you have to count how many you've read on the given day. Really check it out, you can make your app awesome for reading.
I like the simplicity of it, easy and straight to the point, just like using a bookmark. The problem is the "add" function doesn't work. When I first got it, it wasn't working, so I had to add the books manually and import my own images for the covers. Then suddenly it was working just fine, I could scan the barcode and it would add the book instantly, or I would start typing a word and it would give me a list of books with similar names. Now it's not working again, and I can't figure out why. I'm gonna have to give a different app a try, because with the add function not working, might as well just use an actual bookmark.
Perfect This is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to keep track of things I wanted to read what was a good read and what wasn't a good read and with the color coding I was able to that. Also I'm so glad you can manually enter books as well i do alot of audio books while I'm working and most apps you have to scan the Barcode of the book, well with an audio book I don't have a Barcode so I think that's great. I love this app.
Good book app, Windows actually has a better one This only tracks how much progress you've made in a single book, which is helpful, but very basic. The barcode scanner is useless.I would like more features like what Book Pace for Windows Phone had, with leader boards by pages read and a way to set a deadline for reading so it tells you whether you're behind or ahead. As an English major, this feature was useful to keep on top of my studies, and I think this app could use something like it. Kinda weird that Windows phones have a better app for this...
