SoundHound makes it simple to discover music playing around you. It doesn’t matter if you’re at home, in your car, or anywhere else. Just open the app, hit the big orange button, and we’ll tell you exactly what song is playing!

SAVE YOUR MUSIC JOURNEY
All the songs and lyrics you discover will be kept in your own personal history, and you’ll have a Music Map to look up exactly where you heard that song you loved so much. You can also connect your Spotify account to build playlists, explore music across genres, and find new favorites—all with real-time lyrics.

Its a great app thay works 99% of the time. that other 1% is when it can figure out a song. I stress how rare that is. ( many times due to background noise ) but even then it picks up the speakers in department stores and restaurants most of the time. No apps are perfect but this has helps so much when you hear something you like but no idea what it is. this is like someone left the play list to that ultimate mix tape.

Great for me; I use SoundHound mainly to id tunes I hear on a restaurant sound track or wherever. Often the app doesn't seem to have much international data basing, ie: finding tunes from a French radio station, etc. Otherwise is easy to use and no annoying bells & whistles that other apps pile onto their repertoire.

Love this app! When I play a short part of a song it usually finds it and its lyrics. I often hear a part of a song on TV (you know the "I just gotta know what that song is" moment), and/or the lyrics too, and most often Sound Hound finds it. It's awesome! On a rare occasion it doesn't find them, but that's usually really new songs or not very common songs. I love that it stores my history, I just wish I could organize it or even alphabetize it or maybe even make playlists from my hearted songs.
