About this app

Membit(tm) is a geolocative augmented reality application. With membit you can view augmented content exactly where it was meant to be including images, 3d objects Audio and Video. You can also add yourself to become part of the AR fun. Membit's patented Human Positioning System™ allows for markerless Augmented Reality to be used anytime, anywhere, by anyone.

Channels appear whenever there is a public channel near you, or when you are member of a private channel. Think of a channel as a book, with each membit in that channel as a chapter in that book. Channels have a map that shows you where all the membits are in the world so you can find them.

Brands or organizations wishing to create a channel should contact Membit.

To view a membit: Go to the spot shown on the map, line up your camera using the target image, click the "Here" button, and view the AR content.


To make a membit: Use the app to create a target image and put your photo back where it belongs. Record video or still images to share with your friends.
