I have never had a single lesson in my life for another language. I am enjoying this so much my kids have loaded it on their phones too. Now we are learning together. The free app is great, but for someone wanting to master a language paying for the full app would be the way to go.
Exactly what I need: adorable drilling. I got the pro version even though I had everything I needed fir now for free - because I felt compelled to support the app :D Thank you memrise, just - thank you!
Disappointed. Bought app but found it very slow going when I tried Rosetta Stone program. I recommend trying both, which you can for free, before paying. Found Rosetta Stone much more intuitive and learned more useable info quicker.
Way too aggressive in its advertising. After (and frequently before) every lesson, it makes you click and OK statement to decline the ad that says something along the lines of "I like paying full price" or "I like learning slow" or "I'm a monster for not wanting to fork over $59". Okay, that last one was an exaggeration, but the other two weren't. It ends up making what should be a fun experience into a shameful one. Poor form, and a bad decision if you actually want to encourage users to keep using the act.
117 words, phrases & sentences for Tagalog! I can't believe I paid $30 (still a rip off at half price) for 117 words, phrases & sentences. Total! Combined! So a like over a hundred words, 3 or 4 phrases as well as a couple sentences all using the hundred words! Very disappointing!
It is very nearly laid out for beginners. I guess the people who know German already don't have an option but to start from scratch. Still it is a revision for a non - native German speaker.
We put an update in
We put an update out
We put an update in
And then shaked it all about
It got all hokey pokey
so we turned it all around
That’s what it’s all about!
