Love this app and the mobile version is no exception. The beta store PDFs on only shows my device, it doesn't pick up the microSD card but that's the only negative I see. The Interface is pretty awesome, especially the highlighting.
New features should be added for mobile devices. For example when reading an article I would like to see the text as a column. But it just zooms in a place which means have to move the screen all the time
Seeming to be encountering some sync issues of late, but I'm sure that will be rectified in the near future. Otherwise, excellent resource in my opinion!
Synchronisation does not work properly after last update. PDFs don't show up in newly added references. Some references shown multiple times. Sometimes I also have the issue of blank PDF when returning to the app from other apps.
I've been using Mendeley on Linux and Mac for years and am pretty much satisfied. The mobile version is not bad but apparently buggy: group sync consistently fails to sync some files without reporting any error; the file search UI for attaching local files to some bib entry doesn't show any thing when there are obviously matching items out there.
The app has three big problems. First, no option to see highlights at once. Second, whenever i want too see my notes the file goes back to the first page. Third, when i open a pdf file it is not opened where i left it.
- Introducing the Mendeley Feed
- introducing abstract previews in Suggest
- Edit folder names in private folders
- Several backend updates and bug fixes
