About this game

Mendel's Quest is the only running-jumping-punching game that has distinct Jewish motifs. Set in 19th century Russia, you play as Mendel: an Orthodox Jew with a time machine and a mission to restore as many 'holy books' as possible. Help little Mendel complete his mission. Help him.

Fun game, I like it. Unfortunately i can't pass level 14 due to a bug. There is one place where you have to slide under a floating mountain. The game will always count it has a hit, even when you time the sliding right. Then the controls stop working which makes the tall enemy that comes after that part kill you.

I started with the original game which I thought was a joke when I first saw it. I'm very happy with the updated new version. I think it's a real riot. I had nearly played all the levels in the original so being able to start again at the beginning is great. Keep it going, guys! Players should remember each level is a learning experience. Keep repeating levels until you master the new skills you've learned. Remember the new paths to victory you've learned.

I played this several years ago and it was really fun. Just remembered it today so I downloaded it again and it's still fun but there's a glitch where when you press the down button it jumps instead of sliding. Also the app looks bigger than the screen .. Maybe the screen fit or resolution should be adjusted?
