New GUI is not great, delivery fees have skyrocketed....plus rudest customer service.
Use to be a good app and fairly reliable service. But tonight it let me order from a restaurant I'm fairly certain is closed (this is based on the fact that after 15 minutes from ordering I still had no confirmation and couldn't contact the restaurant). Menulog tried calling the place and couldn't get in contact. Couldn't give me an answer to what was happening. They cancelled my order but I'd have to wait up to 48 hours to get my money back.
When I first got the app',it was really good-quick & convenient. Then it changed to such an extent that it became more trouble than it was worth-spent 3 hours trying to order and was then told the order had been cancelled. This is what happens when someone tries to fix something that is not broken!
I like the menulog app, its quick and easy to use. And lets you customise most things. Only downside i would have to mention, (and i dont know if this is menulogs fault) would be sometimes there will be a selection such as 'thickshake' but no flavour option. Likewise with some selection of upsizing or choosing a drink. And i personally dont know what drinks they have. Other than that, using menulog is very simple and lets you experience new foods in the area.
