Have been using this a while but tonight I received a text message for an order I didn't place and even more worrying there was a link in the text which appeared to take me to the Menulog app on Google play to install however it was actually still in the message app. It sounds like this app has been hacked for them to get Mobile numbers. Be very aware of this.
Never using this app again, has taken my online payment on two different occasions with no food. The first time it happened, I called and said refund will be within 2 hours, my refund didn't come until a week later. I then thought I'd try this app again as in good faith and what happened, it takes my money and says the restaurant was unable to accept my order and refund will be processed automatically. It's been 2 days and still no refund!!!
I can't search for particular restaurants, and I can't switch from delivery to pick up. Both pretty fundamental to take away ordering. Add to that the clumsy UI and the serious money issues that I see in other reviews means immediate uninstall. No, I don't want to be contacted either.
Please fix some of the ridiculous bugs in this app. Having to hit the submit order button twice, specials won't add to cart. Please do some testing and fix obvious bugs. Sticking to the website for now
The massive problem with this app is that you place your order , pay for it and THEN find how long your meal will. One and a half hours for a simple Chinese meal 1 suburb away. Ridiculous.
Cash payment is the only payment option available to me on checkout. Same result on the web platform/logging from a PC. Attempts to resolve the issue via email have been negligible. We may represent an iota of your customer base the reason your "competent" staff ignores us. The complaints are only meant to improve overall efficiency.
