you know that guy that made that app on an app store for maybe a hundred people on Earth? Well this is that application. You know what I have looked far and wide and it seems that only a few people do this with their phones and maybe some tablets that have laying around. ---- what this does is take an active GPS signal and sends it out over Bluetooth to your other devices and allows you to use things such as speedometers and other items that require Bluetooth GPS data. ---really cool stuff.

It used to work great but I think Google updated Android and now I can only have it access location while "in use" which even with battery optimizations turned off equates to "screen on, in app" for me. It works great in those conditions but I'm not prompted for an "allow app to access location all the time"

Thanks Meowsbox, very cool. Using this to make my car's head unit GPS accurate and responsive (existing module is laggy and provides late directions). Haven't got the headunit to play nice yet, but I've tested this between two android phones and it works a treat - definitely recommend getting a full license, it's only a few dollars.
