Here’s how it works:
1. Download the Merryfield app for free, then create an account.
2. Next, browse offers from our better-for-you brands. There are a few offer types: Everyday Rewards, which reward you 50 points per $1 (just like 5% back!) anytime you purchase brands you see on our app; Special Offers, which reward you extra points once you activate the offer and purchase the offer-specific products; and Bundles, specific pairings of products that earn you extra points..
3. After that, shop the better-for-you brands on our app. If you shop in-store, grab your receipt then take a photo of it within 7 days, showing your better-for-you purchases, to earn points instantly. (No matter what you purchase, you’ll get points on any paper receipt submitted!) If you shop digitally, connect your retailer accounts in the Receipt Tab in the app to earn automatically.
4. Once you hit 5,000 points, redeem them right in the app for a $5 gift card to dozens of retailers.

This started great. It was ~25 points per receipt & u were allowed 20 to 25 receipts per week. The bonuses for partner items was also much higher. Then the decline began. Eventually, it got to 10pnts/receipt with a ridiculously low 10 weekly receipts. Now, its even lower. 50 receipts maximum, but they only accept receipts that contain specific items. I was getting $20/ 3 months, then 6 months, then 1 year. Now, I will be lucky to get $5/yr. I'll delete it after the next $5 redemption

I liked the app until the recent changes to receipt incentives. You are now limited to 10 receipts per rolling week and each receipt only awards 10 points ($0.01) instead of 25 points ($0.025), making this app one of the worst receipt redemption platforms I'm using. This change combined with very high point balance for the gift cards I prefer make me very unlikely to continue using it. Hopefully they improve it as it is nice having a receipt app dedicated to more healthy products.

practically stopped using this app. It used to be GREAT! With even my tiny bit of shopping i could work towards rewards/better health. NOW I CAN'T GET ANY POINTS AT ALL. Theres no points for scanning receipts anymore [aka bother using the app] yet #cap has risen?! And thats the only way I can do it. I shop better but if its not "participating brands" there's 0 points each time. Getting small points was better than nothing - I am poor + trying to make it work. This app doesn't help anymore.
