Very intrusive with overwhelming pop-up ads. Took up to much drive space, and numerous minor glitches when being utilized. Ads were overwhelming. But the plus side was the free download & slight ease of installation. Also the actual video calls were very good and only had 2-4 minor & easily corrected issues. Best for non-business connected utilization.

Terrible. So not install! As you open this app, a loud add will pop up, and won't let you access your messages, let alone send one. Message service is one of the things that should be immediately accessible. Don't get me wrong, I put up with adds on youtube, etc' without complain. But Whether you text in an emergency or for an immediate reply, the last thing you want is a LOUD commercial taking up your time at this point.

Texting skills are definitely needed for our kids too. The phone check on spelling words has the texting to become faster and clarify thoughts. Plus, the bigger size font helps. I-pad use as a phone isn't quite the same. This messenger speeds up family communication too.
