About this app

myMetLife Gulf (Middle East) app is designed for customers who are covered by a policy purchased from MetLife in one of the Gulf countries (UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain). It’s a one-stop online customer service center with everything MetLife has to offer! Manage your account, read the latest on health, fitness, and financial wellness, and access customer service. If you have medical insurance through your employer, you can also use the app to also access pre-approvals,  submit and view claims and view your ID card. If you’re eligible, the app will also help you access Wellbeing Connect and the health tracking tool.

the app requires a number of improvements. 1. it must allow you to login using finger print and stay signed in so you donot have to enter password it everytime you login. 2. support for attaching pdf/word files should be available. 3. when taking an image snap, it should allow cropping/color adjustment so image quality can be improved as you attach a document. 4. Password complexity requirements are weird, it doesn't allow special characters, authentication needs to be simplified big time.

Slow performance. Keeps asking for password if the app loses focus for a moment. To open a complaint it asks the user for the information that already can be automatically acquired from login info. You can raise a complaint from the pre-approvals page

Very tedious to use. Despite the option to save your credentials, you have to input your password every time. The worst thing by far is the inability to upload pdf. Instead, you're required to take a screenshot of each page of your documents before you can upload. Add to that a clunky, ugly interface. This app is clearly an afterthought, but you're forced to use it all the same. This is beyond improvement, a total overhaul is all that can save this.
