Bags of potential but at the moment it has very few users. And unless you can convince people to make the step from Facebook, it feels a bit empty of intimate connections which was the success of Facebook. There are groups for various interests, but you can feel the apathy. The layout is also a bit basic, and it struggles to recreate that community atmosphere. But it beats Google's attempt at social media and has the potential to become a viable alternative if the masses sign up
The way that Fakebook are interfering with posts and peoples pages, this is THE alternative. Privacy is at the forefront and they don't sell your info on. Takes a bit of getting used to but this app is the way forward. Make it more popular and let's boot Facebook into oblivion.
All my pages are not designed to be active all the time. Some are seasonal like my beach page and yet you remove them from the search after a week. Other pages that were in the search are blocked from being added to the search. How are my pages to be found? I can't find other people's pages in the search and yet I know they exist. The search just sucks. I may just move back to Facebook and tolerate their injustice.
its good but it crashes a lot. also! some picture formats HAVE to be downloaded before viewing. i need previews, not pictures straight to my gallery. please fix this and i'll love you. edit: please have night mode! edit 2: i cant mute notifs anymore all of a sudden, i have to put it on silent mode to do so :(
Could easily give this app a 5 Star rating but far too many glitches. It seems to almost always double your post. Your timeline will be filled with repeat posts. That's especially annoying since you have limited space. Second, there's no gallery. I have to go through my timeline to look at pics.
So much better than some other social media place that likes to censor your opinion if it is against theirs. It's a bit difficult at first, but once you play around for a while, you get used to it
