Update** if you uninstall and reinstall the app, everything works properly. Had the ability to conveniently transfer to and from accounts, deposit checks etc... Update happened 3 weeks ago, now nothing works. Can't even access login screen. Goddamn Russian hackers...
Ugh the app is completely useless to me now. Because I have T-Mobile, I can't get the code because T-Mobile blocks short codes. Guess I'll be changing banks now to one that doesn't require a code to verify. I need an app. The website takes way to long to transfer or pay bills.bye Homestreet
Often says it needs an update at login screen, when it is updated. Not super user friendly. Below average App for an otherwise excellent bank
Worthless app. Keeps telling it's going to text me a security code to enter but it never sends me the code. I cannot do a mobile check deposit and there isn't a branch close to me. I could not be more unhappy with this app or the bank for not following up with my repeated complaints. I did uninstall and reinstall and it is still not working.
No longer works after the update. Application won't even load anymore. Tried deleting and reloading without success. Got confirmation from Home Street in June 2017 that the app didn't work on Android 7.0, the newest version then available. Four months later it's telling me to update my phone software when my phone is on one of the newest available versions of Android. Now, even with an update to Android 8.0, still doesn't work. Update 1/22/18. Yep, still doesn't work. I enter into to log in, and can't hit continue. This has been a problem since at least June last year. 2 contacts with customer service has netted me nothing. Hopefully the team working on back end security isn't the same team developing apps for Android
Update killed the app that no longer works reliably. I keep getting the service unavailable message upon opening the app. Sometimes the only way to fix this is to delete the app and reinstall.
