Useless, never loads This app was OK in the past, but recently its unusable. I enter my user credentials and hit enter and it just sits at "loading". It never actually loads. This has been an issue for some time now 6 months or more. The developers are not working on resolving any of the reported issues. Great customer service guys.
Great app! Does what it's meant to do and that's worthy of 5 stars. Everyone with connection issues needs to look at their provider, not the app itself. I have a Turbo 2 on Verizon and it works every single time. Not to mention the PIN option for signing in and the Mobile Cash is vital for me because I don't carry a debit so being able to use my phone to get cash out of the ATM? What's not to love :-)
Doesn't recognize my signon info Since September I can not log in to my account on a Galaxy S5. I get an invalid credentials message. I can successfully do it on my husband's HTC. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and checked every setting and still can not log in to the app. I am an IT person and know it has to be a tweak needed somewhere, but the next action item for me is to just delete and give up.
Needs work to be competitive As a business owner, the mobile deposit is mostly useless if you make single deposits over $2500. Also the weekly limit of $5k ? Business accounts should be authorized for more on a per account basis. The best banking app I've used is USAA. Biometric and always updated. That should be what BMO chases.
Works fine for checking balances But that's about it. BMO is behind the times when it comes to activity notices. No txt alerts, only email...sometimes emails come days after a notice event. IE transaction exceeds a set threshold. Those with login problems: if you log into online banking on the full site there is a section for managing mobile devices allowed to access your accounts. I found this out when my tablet would not login with the tablet version of this app (which is also pretty limited in usefullness).
This application is useless. It can never load checks. Waste of time!!!! Don't bother to waste time as it is more frustrating than going to the bank. Either way, very inconvenient. : (
