Loved this app on my old phone. My husband just recently broke his phone so I traded up and he took my old phone. I factory reset the phone and added the app back on to both of the phone's. The app no longer works on my old phone or on the new one. All of my account info is correct, I've changed the password and security questions a few times to make sure, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, nothing works. It asks me to answer the security questions and then takes me straight to an activation page for my phone number. I already have an account so it kicks me back to the entry page. I love UFCU, but with limited location I rely heavily on the app to deposit my husband's pay check. This really sucks!
Same as some users below... I used this app everyday, deposited checks, etc. Loved it. I switched phones and am using my husband's old phone, factory reset, downloaded fine but would not let me sign on after all credentials were entered because " the phone has already been registered by another customer. " Yesterday the rep at the bank reset (deleted) my info from my bank account and asked me to uninstall, reinstall and try again in 24 hours. Now the app won't load at all. It's been saying "downloading " for 3 hours.
Useless. My password works just fine on the website and app won't let me sign in. When I try to register for mobile banking, it doesn't recognize my account information. Uninstalled immediately.
App semi-works but looks ancient, no material design. Please update the UI it does not fall under the new design language regulations that Google created back in 2015. I can't believe they haven't bothered to update it since then, it is hideous and it makes me hate opening the app. Why is there no fingerprint authentication like a lot of other banking apps, it would be way more secure and convenient. Also no samsung pay or Android pay support, but there is apple pay support? That seems like they're playing favorites. This seems like a half baked version of a beta app that was never released.
This is a Downgrade! It is definitely Not an upgrade. I've been a member since 1979 and am now considering finding a new bank as each new downgrade gets worse and worse. Please get back to being a good bank.
Upgraded from Galaxy S4 to S8 and I haven't been able to deposit checks. Kept being told "cannot verify check ". I've tried adjusting picture quality as well as reinstalled the app. Bummer...
