Showly is the app I have landed on after trying at least half a dozen tracking apps. Its user interface is attractive and easy to navigate. It is maintained regularly. It is open source, so even if development ends, someone else can pick it up. The Backup/Restore feature ensures you can migrate your data to another device (now that Trakt.tv limits free users). Showly is free, but there are available purchases for some additional features. I purchased the full option, and I'm glad I did.

Great app overall! FEATURE SUGGESTION: 1) When rating a title, add text markings like Trakt has (9 - superb, 2 - poor, etc). Would make rating much more comfortable for people like me who cannot decide between 5 or 6, but can decide between "meh" and "okay/good" 2) Ability to show titles in "progress" as grid with big pictures, like it can be done in Collection

This one of my favorite app so far. The other is Moviebase app. I will give it 5 stars if you add this suggestions. 1. Add long tap or double tap on the bottom toolbar icon to switch between Movies and Shows immediately. The current gesture long tap and then slide left or right is too tedious and cumbersome. 2. For calendar, add swiping up or down gesture to scroll and show past and future shows or movies. This is much more user friendly and easier to use.
