Only been using for a short period, but so far Microsoft Launcher has been one of the best apps I have put on my phone. Had several phone brands over the years, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei etc... some expensive and some cheaper. At this point in time it's been amazing. Intuitive, organised, productive and exceeded my expectations. I am using it in conjunction with Windows 10 a new Note for work phone and a P9 of my own. Installed on both. I guess these aren't the same people that developed the Groove app for Android, something that should have been great but a disappointing experience over all.
Impossible to uninstall this app without a full device reset. When attempting an uninstall, an error message appears telling me the app is a device administrator. When I deactivate it's status as device administrator, the error message continues to appear. After a reboot, the app resets itself as a device administrator and refuses to uninstall. Microsoft, I'm sorry I tried another of your products. I ditched Windows because of similar B.S. and unfortunately now I'm dealing with it on a tablet. If this is a bug, please fix it. If its intentional, please learn that not all users want you to take control away from them. Asus ZenPad 3S 10, Android 7.0 Nougat
Have been using Nova for 2 years which is great, but thought it was time for a change. Was pleasantly suprised with Microsoft Launcher. The only thing is, the recent apps in the search function does not show customised icons.
Buttery smooth with features. Microsoft has made all it's services and apps available to Android but google never made app for windows phone Love you Microsoft. (Die hard windows phone user)
One of the best. There are still a lot of thing to develop. Certain settings are not able to change after first set up. I had to delete all data and go through set up again. Otherwise it's very fine launcher.
I like the app, but performance is just not good enough yet for me to use the launcher. An example is swiping up from the appdrawer button to access quick apps and quick settings, this is just laggy. The app is also very overwhelming. It gives me the impression of having to sit down for a few hours and needing to check out the features, before I can set it up the way I want it. There is some interesting functionality in there though, such as the feed to the right of the homescreen, and the way it's set up. Promising launcher, but not quite there yet.
