OK if its beta Can we get a stable version for android sg3. Its logs off every now and then. When will the camera phone work?
No options options I cannot describe further more on this. My organization supports lync 2010. Not able to connect it cause no options found
Not possible to sign in Because there is no options menu on the login screen I'm unable to login. This had been a reported problem for some months but still hasn't been fixed apparently
Really needs work... Disappointed! Works fine on Nexus 5, but overall I am extremely disappointed with this app. The features are awful and the UI is horrible. I understand that you will be working on Lync 2013, which does look a nice app, but that does not mean you drop support for Lync 2010? A lot of businesses are still using this, so please pay some attention to this app aswell as the 2013 app. A new UI upgrade is a start, then add some more features, such as voice/video calling to Lync contacts rather than their phones and mobiles.
Seriously? Probably the worst messaging app I have ever used. It cant even get basic things like presence right - it will show me as being logged in when I am in fact not. It's 2014, and I use more than one device to message co-workers. However, Lync 2010 can't seem to handle that very well. If I start a conversation on my phone, it doesn't appear on my desktop, and vica versa. Very frustrating.
It is so limited. My work has started using Lync for all of our meetings. I was hoping I would be able to attend remote meetings without having to carry my laptop around. This app is almost totally worthless. It does provide instant messaging and online status but that is about it. When you click on a link to join a meeting, it takes you to a web browser and once you click a button it will call your phone number so you do not have to dial in... that's it! It does not even work with the default Android browser, you have to install Firefox for it to work. Lastly, there is no video or ability to see a shared screen. Obviously Microsoft really only wants you to work from a windows machine.
This release includes:
• Fix for a sign-in issue for users on Jelly Bean (4.2 and newer).
• Other bug fixes.
Recommended: Users who are updating from older versions of Lync client, may need to sign out and sign in again, after installation is complete.
