It's a great program for creating and organizing quick notes. My only reservation is the ability to back up the notes locally. I created several notes that we're important while offline. The app, for whatever reason, failed to launch afterwards and all my notes I created offline were no longer available, hence, they were gone. I feel the app should create a local backup in case of failure. If that feature were available, I would rate OneNote 5 stars.
Excellent for note-taking and organising your life/work. Easy to type notes and paste in pictures and attach files. Extremely useful search ability. Syncs with the excellent, free Desktop software without a hitch. Suggested Improvements: I'd like the inbuilt tables to have a bit more functionality - they are too basic. You can't fill cells with colour, and there are no options for basic maths relationships between cells. Has a bug in the iOS and Android app that causes the app to auto-scroll halfway up the page when you paste text at the bottom of a long page of text. However, these are minor issues.
This is an awesome way of keeping my busy days under control, recording miscellaneous items and taking school notes. I even got my executives to use it so that we can keep up to date on tasks to be done. I have this installed on all of my devices; from laptop to tablet to phones. Really powerful tool. However, the Android version constantly has sync issues if you use while internet connection is on.
Very good app for notes. Few suggestions: The app always or often shows a notice regarding conflicting changes which seems to be hard to get rid of. It would also be good if the option is given to view the time/date of when a note was last editied. Thank you and wish the best.
Great app! I wish I had this in college. Since I went to college before flip phones... MS word was ok. Seriously, great app. It takes a little time to acclimate without mouse and keyboard. But, I use this for notes, grocery lists, to-do lists, etc. With its compatibility with my laptop OneNote, I have total recall from both devices. If I could add spreadsheet capabilities and = functions, my home button would be almost useless.
Update: All shortcomings have been rectified and it is almost perfect companion now! Superb app and syncing is almost instantaneous. Is a great companion tool for my work. The sync can be improved as sometimes it generates error that can not be easily solved or understood . But overall a good improvement. Update: It works flawlessly now. Great app.! Can't do without this. Thanks MS
