Using Pixel XL (Android O), remoting into a Windows 7 box, the display is terribly distorted. Lots of duplicated parts and random colors. Did seem to work pretty well prior to going up to Android O.
This had been a nice, fully-functioning RDP client on my chromebook until the latest updates which have completely broken it. The remote view now renders on 1/4 of the screen but the input area scales to the full screen. It's been broken for weeks now and I've had to find an alternative. Hopefully they fix it soon and I can adjust this review.
IMO this is absolutely the best application for accessing Microsoft Exchange (work email for the most part but you can sync other online email like gmail, yahoo, ect..) email on a mobile device. The focused inbox is incredibly accurate and the emails that I can read later always end up in my "Other" or not critical view. This reduces the junk I have to navigate very successfully. This was not something I had to train to get it as accurate akeepnabigate Keep up the good work. Future enhancement id like to see and yes I voted for them inside the app... Pin Lock and syncing across devices with a cloud login (passport)?
What a horrible app. I've been using Google's remote desktop, which worked fine but didn't let me use the mouse the way I wanted so wanted to try Microsoft's offering. Awful. It detected my PC but refused to connect. Then when it deleted my PC and tried to connect again, it no longer recognised it. This is connecting over a home wireless network. Do I need to alter anything on my router? Did it try to connect to my PC or did it not even get that far? No indication of which party of connection it failed at. Chrome remote desktop didn't have any of these issues. Very poor offering from Microsoft. Try making something a little more user friendly. Edit: it may be because I'm on Windows 10 Home but I can't be sure. The help page on the app says install remote desktop assistant (which it says is available for Windows 10) but when you install it it says you can't use it on Windows 10 Home edition. But do I need the assistant to use the remote desktop assistant app? I'm left having no idea if remote desktop should work or not. Awful. Thoroughly awful from Microsoft.
Works great! But because I use multiple devices for the same connections and accounts... It would be AWESOME to see some sort of export option of all connections and accounts.. so that I don't have to manually enter them on each device.
We have made the following improvements in this release:
