About this app

OneDrive is the one place for everything in your work and personal life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files so you can get to them from your Android device, computer (PC or Mac), and any other devices you use. With OneDrive for Business, you also get storage for your work files so you can share and collaborate on them with other people at your work or school. The OneDrive app for Android lets you easily work with your personal and work files when you’re on the go:

• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you.
• Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup.
• Share your files.
• Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.
• Open your OneDrive files in other apps, including Office apps.
• Quickly get to documents you've recently opened.
• Search for your files and folders.

Notes:
For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory.
Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

Gallery sync from Samsung phones (S20, S24) continues to be problematic. Automatic sync is very fragile and stops working every few weeks. Need to manually sync whenever I need photos synced I have to manually initiate a sync. Also the onedrive folder where photos from my phone changes. Microsoft needs to stop changing the onedrive folder where phone photos are stored. Most recent change to the folder occurred this month. This app is not implemented for a reliable sync from phone photos.

MS OneDrive SUCKS the way it takes control over "My Documents". It's out of control! Edit/Update: years later nothing significant has changed in MS OneDrive. It will not allow me to control my files & folders the way I want to control them. It takes over essential control of everything in the "My Documents" Windows folders and only allows certain halfhearted attempts via backdoor modifications to isolate files and circumvent it's control.

Having your files synch feels like rolling the dice. Along with that simply uploading a video (less than a gig) isn't working for no discernable reason. It infinity gives the "there was a problem," text and the tech support is useless. If I wasn't forced to use it for college, I'd stay far away from this incompetent app.
