OneDrive is the one place for everything in your work and personal life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files so you can get to them from your Android device, computer (PC or Mac), and any other devices you use. With OneDrive for Business, you also get storage for your work files so you can share and collaborate on them with other people at your work or school. The OneDrive app for Android lets you easily work with your personal and work files when you’re on the go:
• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you. • Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup. • Share your files. • Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders. • Open your OneDrive files in other apps, including Office apps. • Quickly get to documents you've recently opened. • Search for your files and folders.
Notes: For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory. Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

I used to like OneDrive. I'm NOT impressed with the repeated request to auto upload the camera to OneDrive. The options need to include "Don't ask again", because I don't want to auto upload. I DON'T WANT ANY PHOTOS UPLOADING. So come on, add an option to 'opt-out'. Also, it's becoming more like a tacky social media app by suggesting photos to view. If I wanted that, I'd sign up to the appropriate app. I just want to store documents, without interfering and useless suggestions.

Rating would be higher but the cast option is buggy, it plays video files no problem but any music I add to OneDrive won't play, it just asks me what app I'd like to play the file with like VLC for example, this is after I have already selected the cast option in the OneDrive app. I hope this gets looked into as in all fairness the video casting works great. One other slight criticism is that I only have the option to buy an extra 100GB of storage, would be really great if I could buy 200+GB

the onedrive app provides important features that I could not find in other apps. for example, automatically uploading my photos and videos to the cloud, and use it on my computer as a local drive. it seamlessly integrates with Office 365, and has built-in support for all of Microsoft doc types: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. these features are extremely valuable when I'm using it for personal or professional purposes. i recommend onedrive if you want to save yourself a lot of time and hassle.

You can now display your media files on a Chromecast receiver or TV from a compatible device. Look for a Cast icon showing in the top toolbar. We hope you enjoy this top-requested feature!
