Ratings and reviews

Overall Stream is a great tool, but the functionality of the mobile app is limited. There are no notifications for channels, you can't find the channels that you "follow" in the browser version, and you can't easily filter out the types of videos you don't want to see. edited: reading through other comments, I look forward to seeing channel support this summer!

Three stars because I am thankful to be able to get to our videos hosted in Stream. Taking off two stars because the mobile app is nowhere near where it could have been if it had the same features (simple things such as skip forward, backward..) of other mobile video players that have been in the market for many years. Now that Microsoft is killing off the current version of Stream, I would not hold my breath that this mobile app would get any love from dev team.

Pretty much a pointless app... Can't access channels or groups. I can only see my personal video files and some recently added videos, but can't access anything even remotely close to what I can on a desktop... Had hoped to use Stream company wide but we need an app version that actually works. I tried to see if I could access the videos via SharePoint that are inaccessible here... Nope 😕

What's new

We hear you! This update introduces a bunch of useful features besides the usual bug fixes:

- You can now download videos and watch them offline without depending on internet connectivity

- Video upload functionality is now available in Stream Classic
