I've had this midea ac for over a year. Works just fine, but has of lately I am having trouble connecting it to my phone it keeps disconnecting and I have to refresh it and log in and out several times to get it to connect and once it does connect I have to select my options if I want fan or ac and the moment I select it turns the app to offline again. I know it's not my wifi as I have good wifi with everything else. Also the fact this just started happening the past few weeks now.

DO NOT INSTALL FIRMWARE UPDATES. Ever since I did the machine has brain damage. It turns itself off after running for a few minutes. The only way it will even work for a short time is if I constantly turn it off then back on. The comfort button on the app also stopped working. The update made this way overpriced POS dehumidifier even more worthless because the smart/app feature was its only redeeming quality in the 1st place! What a complete all round rip off midea air is. To the landfill asap!

Our A/C unites themselves are great and very efficient. However, there is no option in the app schedules to turn the LED and sound on or off, which would be great for night schedules. However, my schedules have become useless now because any schedule will cause the A/C to set itself to 86 degrees F. I have unplugged the ACs, powered them on and off with the power button, etc. with no success in resolving the issue.
