About this app

Heartbits is an app that collects heartbeats and sends them to those you love. Just cover the phone's back camera with your index finger, relax and think about this person.

The app collects your heartbeat through the pulse on your finger and turns this data into sound (your heartbeat), vibration (the phone will vibrate in real time) and a 15-second video. At the end of this capture, you can type a small message and send it to that person you really want to give a hug and say: I miss you, you are important to me.

Doesn't work right now, just not YET. This is such an awesome idea, but for all intensive purposes it doesn't seem to work. I really want it to though, so I'm writing this! When I click on the "Type your special message here..." prompt, the box opens but doesn't pull up my keyboard in the app. Because of that, I can't write anything or progress to actually sending it!! I really hope this gets figured out, I tried all I could to fix it (like switching digital keyboards) because it's a great idea.

Doesn't work on android! I am a hospice nurse and love to offer this to families who are saying goodbye to a loved one for the last time. But on android phones, it's a huge problem. You can record the heart beat, and are required to enter a message in order to save the recording... but the text box never pops up, and you are unable to type and save! PLEASE FIX THIS! It would be an amazing way for so many more people to hold a dear memory of a loved one!

While the heartbeat part seems to work, my keyboard won't come up to type anything, and I couldn't see how to save or send anything either
