About this game

When two cousins are shipwrecked on a remote island in Alaska, it’s up to you to help them survive, escape, and maybe even discover why there are so many security cameras out here in the middle of nowhere...

57° North tells a gripping story with hundreds of decisions and multiple endings that depend on the choices you make. For an even more immersive experience, it also works with the Merge Cube (https://mergevr.com/cube) to bring gorgeous illustrations to life in the palm of your hand. Just don't get too distracted looking at the scenery... we've heard there are bears on the island.

Story is great, but I have issues that I was hoping would get fixed. Flashlight doesn't work with the Merge Cube, either in normal mode or VR. And VR mode spreads the subtitles across both screens, making them impossible to read. I complained about that in a previous review, hoping to get the devs attention. They did see it, but no such update occured. So I have to either mess with outside light sources to get it to read the cube, or go full screen, which seems to be the only part that works rn

Decent story telling game with a very simple interface. The storyline is somewhat short and incomplete, but I feel that this game has some potential to be something really great. It would be nice if the game can include a skip function for players that want to unlock all the different endings.

This game had a slow creeping horror to it. As you start the game you're met with this relaxing but yet unsettling music. Then mixed with the narration, it will make you feel emotions as the story progresses. It's well written and researched which doesn't break the immersion. Every action you take will play a role in the bigger picture, in the end, which will further peak your curiosity even more. In no point of playing this game, was I ever bored. This was really an experience. Thank you.
