This app was awesome years ago when I bought it, and it just gets better all the time. I just discovered the web based list management and sync with my device. Best shopping list making app you can get.
Love it, can be improved I use it almost daily and love it. However in the To Do function, you cannot manually add a quantity, which is annoying especially when making pack lists. On the To Do list, I also cannot seem to turn off that the system automatically goes to edit mode once I add an item. Would be great if you could fix this! There is also a problem that search won't find any recipe titles, only ingredients instead, which makes it hard to find a particular recipe in a larger collection. Otherwise, thanks for a great app!
IF YOU SHOP IN ONE AND ONLY ONE STORE - THIS MAY BE OF VALUE TO YOU.
1) The "support" website doesn't work. You can't even ping the server. They should at least provide a "under construction" msg.
2) The demo video is for an old version. Video is completely useless
3) I work with databases and programming, and without any other means of support, I'm finding this very confusing. 4) their "list mgm't" website is next-to-useless. You have to TYPE IN in the items rather than be presented with a simple check list? Google Keep is better. This seems to be a "list" program adapted to shopping, rather than the developer asking himself how people actually shop in the real world then designing a program for that. Unexplained terms e.g. "Pantry"? and their functions confuse more than help. Added functions of recipes and tracking history of no value when the BASIC STRUCTURE is so confusing without giving ANY SUPPORT OR EXPLANATION. I once created a word processing document check-list easier to use in shopping than this. I'm going back to "Buy Me A Pie". The few problems there are nothing in comparison to this mass of confusion.
Incredibly good, flexible & versatile – fantastic programming If you only could make the Basic Web UI a bit more than just basic! :) Writing and editing is so much more convenient on a PC than on an Android. Please give us at least ToDo (and even Pantry?) sync and edit on the web. But other than that, really great. SYNCS beautifully between ALL devices, has that basic web interface (syncs nicely both ways!), has MULTI-LINE items and notes (not only "bread" but LONG texts!). :) Thank you. :) If categories (aisles) could be colour coded, I would give SIX stars! :)
2 years in Thats how long my family have been using this and we like it. Having tried the rest this is the best. Both of us have the app on two devices each. We can both update the list and take it with us on our phones. It takes a bit of time to set it up but well worth it. Great for us guys because you can add photos so less arguments about getting the wrong item, brilliant and recommended.
I can't get started. I've tried numerous times to download open and start using this app. The app is supposed to be colorful and friendly. For me it is always black and grey and I can't figure out where to start. I've tried looking at the help and it is never helpful. I have tried the free version, and purchased the premium version. I still can't figure out how to get going. All I want to do is have lists with prices, & I want to be able to check off the items that I need each time I go to the store whether it's Safeway, Costco
