About this app

This simple and easy to use workout app is for training finger strength for rock climbing and bouldering by doing hangboard intervals or “repeaters”. Hangboards and fingerboards are not recommended for beginner climbers.

Instructions:

-Be sure to be properly warmed-up before using the fingerboard. Laps first on boulder problems or routes is highly recommended.
-Starting with a set on the jug holds of the hangboard is also recommended.
-When hanging on a hold, fingers should be in a half-crimp position.
-The arms should be in a very slightly bent position, the muscles should be “engaged”.
-Hang from the hold on the hangboard for the number of seconds you entered.
-Pause for the number of seconds you entered.
-Repeat for the number of rounds you entered.
-Rest for the number of seconds you entered. At least 90 seconds is recommended.
-Repeat for the number of sets you entered.

Need to fix start button on android. When held vertically the start button isn't accessable. I've been using this so for years but now it's unable. I can access in horizontal but I don't like it that way. If you move the start button up a little it would be great. Edit. This was fixed rapidly after my comment. Back to 5 stars. 😊

Everything you need and nothing that you don't. Amazingly simple app. Edit: The countdown timer used to use a series of beeps to signal when the time is expired. They changed it to some british lady saying "THREE....TWO....ONE". There is also no option to revert back to the series of beeps. 2nd edit: the developers responded to feedback and reverted back to the series of beeps, back to 5 stars.

Good. Would be great to be able to pause a workout if you need to access another app or record that you had to stop a workout early. Would also be great to add in a record to the log of a workout that you did online. And to export the log. And to edit a note on a workout. Sometimes you think five minutes later that you should have noted something you forgot. :). Thanks for the app. outs a decent tool as is.
