Raanaa® - Sjamanjenta and Máttaráhkká
Máttaráhkká is the goddess who gives souls to unborn babies. She has been captured by the god of death Rohttu, who will lead all wandering souls to her own domain. She is kept inside a mountain on a floating island in the Sáivu kingdom occupied by Rohttu, and Rohttu's occupation of Sáivu makes Sáivu empty of life and color.
Since Máttaráhkká is trapped in the mountains, she has no opportunity to lead the children's souls - they will get lost, and no new children will be born. And when no new children are born, humanity will eventually perish.
The resourceful and brave shaman girl, Raanaa, finds out about this and starts saving Máttaráhkká. Raanaa finds the entrance to the Sáivu kingdom at the bottom of a lake. There in the Sáivu kingdom, Raanaa must jump on floating islands to collect various colored elements from the thunder god Horagalles. The rainbow arrows of Horagalles help Raanaa regain the colors of the Sáivu kingdom and find their way to Máttaráhkká.
