I've used a couple different kanji apps at this point and this always seems to be the one I come back to. It's got everything I need when it comes to studying kanji and for all that is in this app it's amazing. This is also one of the few apps I've bought because I was amazed at the quality of the free version and the fact that there is no adds in the app. Can't recommend enough!
Now that I've immigrated to Japan, learning more Kanji and pronto has moved to my priority list, & this app really delivers! All kanji has both Japanese and Chinese readings listed in hiragana and katakana, as well as stroke order and usage. There are also different quiz methods that kind of gamify the learning process, making it fun! I don't feel like I'm stumbling around in the dark anymore, or at least not quite as much!
My favourite app for practicing my hiragana writing skills (I'm still a beginner). I will be getting the paid version soon for sure but can i make one small suggestions? The little toasts that come up when you complete a writing quiz: can you make them stay a bit longer or even display them in an alert with an ok button? It disappears too fast; I can't read them in time! Still 5* for epic app
I like the flash card approach as well the writing practice and it's hanamaru grade. But I wish it would be smarter at figuring out by itself which kanji I know on the writing practice so it doesn't ask me over and over, but still ask them to me once in a while to make sure i don't forget them. I also is it as a kanji dictionary and it's the best in this manner. Great app!!
Love it! The purpose of an app like this is to take knowledge that already exists and to digest and filter it according to the needs of the users, both stated or unstated. The app does this brilliantly and with style, meeting the needs of my faculties, unspoilt for studying. No clutter. I combine this app with obenkyo and anki.
Perfect! Went from endless dabbling in N5 kanji to recognising 1500 kanji within 45 HOURS! Unbelievably powerful app! Main feature: kanji component search and sublime interface. Must-have for creative heads, Heisig followers and low-yield rote learners. Engaging flashcard settings. Intriguing Statistics. Active, caring and responsive developer.
