Mini nurse lite, crashes while trying to update data base. Uninstalled & reinstalled several times & still continues to crash. I love the app but cont. To crash when updating database.
The best app! Even as a nurse there were things I don't use every day and wanted to recall. Most any question is in this one app. I cannot thank you enough for the time saving app!
Pointless app Really this app is of no help if your looking to look up a med or check for interactions, symptoms, ect
I can't use this app. Once installed you get a pop-up saying that the app won't work without updated the database, therefore forcing you to 'update' the app once installed, and it instantly goes to a black screen afterward. This happens every time now, even after reinstalling time and time again on my Galaxy S7 Edge. This used to be a great app with so much great information that I used to jog my memory, especially while at work. Anyway, enough with my rant. Time to go dig through the attic to try and find my old books from nursing school..
Great app Very helpful. I use it mostly for lab values. I wish the facts had names instead of fact 001 etc. There could be more content but I assume that's included with the paid version. For a free app, I am very happy with this.
To all people getting the black screen after the database update - I had the same problem, but noticed that after the database update downloaded, the app's main screen flashed up briefly before it all went black, which gave me an idea. Next time I opened the app and updated the databases, I clicked on an icon in the brief second that the main screen was visible, and it worked, and the screen didn't turn black, and now it works perfectly every time. I suspect if the device updates the app and a new database needs downloading, I may encounter the same problem, but it's an easy fix tbh. RE the app itself - this thing is great. A ton if info for free, and I'm gonna buy the donate version just to thank the developer. Lots of good acronyms covered, and quick definitions for procedure names you may have forgotten or only heard once. Lots of great info for a student or a working nurse.
- Added a simple ABG Interpretation (found under Assessments & Charting)
- Fixed a few database typos (please e-mail if you find more)
- Added IAD, IVDU, JVD, VDD, AMI, ADL, ATC, ORIF to abbreviations
- Added -um, -sis, -some, -plasm, -genesis, -ell to suffix
* Sorry for the late updates, but thanks for the submissions. Keep them coming!
