Great app for managing finances This app works great. I would only think the menu options could be a bit more intuitive than they are, and it would be nice to create custom categories from it as well.
Complete crap that they are phasing out a perfectly good app for this. Haven't these people heard if it isn't broke don't fix it. Mint bills was perfect and instead they are choosing to remove it. Without first fixing the problems with Mint. On top of us having to transfer everything over. Can they really not make a better integration of mint bills without redoing EVERYTHING... And have a simple interface that works like Mint bills. I will be sure to find a different app elsewhere because i sure won't be using this horrible app once mint bills is phased out.
I never used mint bills so I can't compare it but I love this app. It was relatively easy to set up but I did have an issue getting 1 bank account added but the error message I was getting was gone by the next morning. It took a lot of time to set up all of my budgets, categorize transactions, etc but that is mainly due to having so many accounts in my household. Now that it is set up, I love it. It doesn't keep certain transactions as up to date as I would like, such as payroll deposits, but within 1 day they are there so that is not a huge deal since the main reason for using the app is for keeping track of our household budget. It does not automatically update the transactions when the app is closed but does update when you open it which works fine for me. I love the website as well and it has the extra details the app doesn't that really helps me manage my money.
I guess it's unanimous, the people want Mint to be more like Mint Bills, not the other way around. I'm not sure how you guys would try and roll out a huge change like this and not even have simple bugs worked out, like adding your bank accounts. And why wouldn't my bills be moved over? Do I need to set ALL my bills up all over again? What a pain! What was the point? Are you guys even responding to us?
Not as good as previous app: Mint Bills. Too difficult to review individual accounts. Constant issues with needing more information to login to accounts. After trying to correct login information it will lock you out of your online banking accounts, forcing you to reset them with all of your creditors. Difficult to edit classifications of various spending types. The interface is terrible. I can't find what I want in this thing. Less than average. I want the old app back! I can't believe you would cancel the old app in favor of this?
I loved it for years when it actually worked. Now it won't connect to my accounts, and their support team stopped responding to me. 6 months later and still nothing. They sent me an email today saying my credit score was updated. I went to sign in and it told me the email address wasn't linked to an account. But then it let me reset my password with that email address. It went from smooth and bug-free to awful. It has been easier using an Excel spreadsheet.
It's a great app that has helped our budgeting. A few gripes: 1) annoying unpredictable exiting of menus. I will try to select a category of an expenditure and it kicks me back out. Can't figure out rhyme or reason 2) inability to sync accounts with 2-method certification. I have accounts with the RSA random number generator and cannot sync those accounts with mint
Is your bill already on AutoPay outside of Mint? Just select the bill, tap on the pencil icon in the top right corner, and check the On AutoPay option.
Do you want to hide a bill from the bills list? Just go to the bills list, and get into the account settings by long pressing on the bill. Then select the Hide Bill option.
