I love the concept: one number that tells you how you are doing exercise and heart wise. The slice device works great. The app still needs some work. Very often it does not sync properly or takes a lot of time to do it, only accounts for one sleep time per day (no naps) and a couple of other bugs But the bottom lines is: they deliver what they sell: you look at your score and you know right then if you are below, on or above your target
Initially, I loved this system and the technology behind it. But, like other commentators, I find that it is very buggy. Slice sometimes is stingy with points and other days, while doing the same workout, hand them out like candy. Some days Slice connects with my phone or iPad app and other days it does not. Great idea if they can make it work right.
Though the app has access to my heart rate under daily view it won't calculate or even sync over Pai points if I forget to open the app that evening after my workout. I like the Slice and the concept of PAI but I don't want to recommend the device or app if it performs this poorly. At least the device works with third-party heart rate apps ...
It doesnt connect after update and it doesnt find my bluetooth phone... Why does it do that? Why can't it be made better in the beginning??? This why im really fed up with products like this. It's so fancy it doesn't work....
Good idea but beyond buggy. Got as gift-cant return. Would never buy. Have had to close app multiple times and now forced to reinstall- but probs w/that too. Have to call
I have been using this since February and it is hard to tell what is worse, if this app or my Nexus 6. The app does not give accurate times. It is about 8 hours off with all the information so all the information I get is so off I have to ignore it, and after complaining for months, the response was to not use the device with my phone and take my iPad to the gym, which is ridiculous. According to the app I wake up.like at 3pm. Everytime I want to sync the device, I have to go to my phone's settings, kill the app and restart it again, also annoying. The sleep time tells you if you sleep but it will not know if you wake up and go to sleep again. According to the app I sleep like 4 hours every night. And today, the app decided to stop detecting the device, while other apps can. This app barely does what it is supposed to do, or does it mediocrately.
