Secret Voice Recorder application will let you record voice or audio stealthily by pressing the power button 3 times within 1 second or the time set by you in the app settings.
Note : If you face any problem while using power button gesture, please make sure that your mobile screen turns on or off after each power button press.
Hereafter you can secretly record the conversations while anyone asks for the bribe, blackmail or threaten you. All you need to do is to 3 press the power button 3 times within 1 seconds. The app will start recording the voice and audio around you in high quality. If you want to stop the recording, you can press the power button 3 times within 1 seconds again.

Good app but really need improvement. (1) When recording starts, screen light lit up. It makes a person suspicious. (2) when recording is done and saved and while unlocking the screen, it comes up with opened secret voice recorder app. Its really risky in case the target person asks my phone with any excuse & i will be caught red handed.

The 3 push power button to start and stop does not always work for me. It appears I need to have the app working in the background first. That kind of defeats the whole idea of being able to record secretly without the other party noticing. Iam using huawei y336 running on android 4.4.2. Did try to make the app a "protected" app but that still did not solve the problem. Edited: It seems to be working ok now after i went to settings and not only made it a "protected" app but also went to settings-all-accessibility - services and turned voice recorder "on". Its working like it should now. I really like its "covert" on and off button via the power button. Very handy. 5 stars for me!!

3 stars only because I want to be able to back up to my Cloud or wherever I choose either Automatically or manually. I ended up losing all my recordings when my phone had to be factory reset

Hey in the next update it would be nice if you would make it away or ability to turn up the sensitivity of the microphone because my last recording didn't go over so well everything was so quiet I could hardly hear anything I am on Android 7.1.2 Pixel XL

Its working great..but if you start the recording using power buttn and not able to stop it using power button again,the app is visible on screen..should be more discreet and not present in the minimized tab..

Thanks for your positive feedback. Please turn on the "Close App after Smart Record" option in the app's settings. It will prevent the app from popping up after you unlock the screen. Regarding your first feedback, We will look into it and get back to you with a proper update. The 3 push power button to start and stop does not always work for me. Due to Android limitation, Volume Button mode won't work when the screen is off. Please use the Power Button mode which will help you to record even when the screen is off. 3 stars only because I want to be able to back up to my Cloud or wherever I choose either Automatically or manually. This is what I've been looking for. Great app. Works like a charm. I've set 4 seconds delay for power button to avoid confusion with camera app. 5 stars.
There should an option to change the name "secret voice recorder". Because anyone can get alert to see its name.

We will notify you once the update is available for the app. Its not very secret if you open your app and BAM it's right there, it should be running in background out of view, I don't want to close the app, I want it to not open into screen in first place, that's not secret if you open your phone with the person there then bam they see your recording them.

Thanks for your feedback. You can turn on the "Close the app after Smart Record" option in the app's settings. It will close the app after you stop recording. We are working on improving the secrecy of the app. Exactly what ive wanted but never found til now. Great app. Sometimes you have to try more than once to start or stop it but still makes it possible to record with anyone realizing thats what youre doing :) very happy to have found this. A great big thank you to whoever made it

Thanks for your feedback. We will look into this issue and fix it pretty soon. Well it does record, but it's not secret. Any time you activate the recording program it closes everything else on your screen and switches to the recording app.

After latest update, my s8 wouldn't charge more than 75% overnight. When Put app to sleep... phone charged inside 30 mins. After uninstalling no more problems.
Good app when it works. Sometimes doesn't record after exiting the app. The feature where you press the power button 3 times to start or stop records 80% of the time doesn't work.

i wish when I started recording by power button and then turn screen on app goes hidden in background. if you fix it i will give 5 🌟
If it doesnt start on power button, REMOVE THIS APP FROM SAMSUNG'S "POWER SAVE" LIST!!!

Does not allow lock screen to be manually locked. That means you are suck, because you expect users to test for you.

Please make sure you didn't delete the recorded files by mistake using any file manager app. Check the Sound Recorder folder in your phone memory and make sure the recording files are available there.
