Alarms are flakey and don't always work (mine seems to have stopped completely since daylight savings). Activity tagging is nice but often hard to tell if it's working. Can only sync with the device manually, which is a bit tedious.
Really limited and basic for an expensive tracker. I thought the one app achieve everything the product can do. But you need Multiple apps. Why do you need a separate cycling app. A separate link app. Make one app all encompassing instead of filling up my phone with misfit apps. It regularly cannot find my tracker and it blades this on my Bluetooth even though it will be working flawlessly with other devices. Just a big disappointment
Update 3/21/17: this app is still gorgeous but I wish it had more functionality. I still want Google Hangouts as a notification option and I want to be able to track food from within this app. I love the new update but disappointed that google messenger or google chat was not included in the apps for notification.
I've had this thing for a while now and I got it because I can wear it in the pool. I'm physically disabled and these people seem to think that the only people interested in getting more active and losing weight are people who can run and be REALLY active! That's LAME! You still can't track food either so it's ridiculous that I have to get another app for that! Get with the program because I'm ready to buy another tracker! I just replaced my battery a second time...in less than a year!
I've used this app with my Ray for about 4 months now. I am overall happy with both, but as a former Jawbone Up2 user, I have a few notes: 1) the feature I miss most from the Jawbone Up app is autosync. The Misfit app makes you sync manually, and even though a double tap on the Ray can usually give me my point count, if it hasn't synced in several hours, it will only blink red once until it syncs with the app. Also, if it hasn't synced in a day or so, the silent alarm won't go off! This really needs to change. 2) it doesn't notify you when you've reached your daily goal. It was always satisfying when my old Up2 buzzed to that signal my goal was met, and it kept you from needing to check you app all the time 3) the triple tap feature isn't really very useful like I thought it would be. It would be much better if it could do something more fluidly with my phone, like active Okay Google (or sync!!)
Have used the app with both the misfit flash and shine. Updates easily, good accuracy. Helpful to see battery level. Works nicely with other fitness apps. I now have the phase and is very stylish, and easier to read the time.
