Day 1 Terra Battle player. The new mechanics are great, zoom feature is your best friend when it comes to moving thru tight areas. We have already trained playing in this style with being able to move enemies so nothing new there, except the new purple immovables. Looking forward to seeing how new events and co-op will play out. Terra Battle 2 keep up the great work. #MistWaLkEr
I really want to give this at least 4 stars simply due to the story, characters, and artwork but some things need work. The world map controls are terrible. I find myself leaving people behind often and running into walls. It is a bit tedious. I don't think I like that you can move enemies. I end up moving my units around all over the place in the process. I don't think I like not being able to clear pacts.
This brings a number of much needed changes to the original Terrabattle system, but has a few problems. Principle among them is that the precise movement scheme that works so well in combat and in TB1 does not translate well into the world map. Other than that and no longer being able to fully clear pact pools,a very good game
Controls are messy. Can't see where I'm moving my characters, my finger covers them up. Placement is critical. Sometimes one of my characters isn't with the group because I can't see where I'm placing the battlefield. I'm still used to the enemies not moving when it's my turn, but now that they do, it's trickier because of the whole moving diagonally. Characters get thrown out of position. After that it's a mad flurry of swiping my finger all over the place to get them back before the clock runs out. Chapter one is kind of tough. I imagine it's even harder for new players. I think the game needs a little more work before I can recommend it to friends.
Unfortunately, Google Pixel XL new Android 8.0.0 doesn't support this game. Will not load past developers names. If it manages to get past, it gives a maintenance error. Hopefully this is fixed soon. I loved the first and have been looking forward to this since they announced its release.
A great sequel to the original game with a couple things that should be fixed. The tutorial is a bit vague. Nobody would figure out there's a more in-depth tutorial on the combat if you choose that choice of not being ready to go. Also the controls for map mode is a bit loose could do with some improvements over time. Overall the story is epic, raids are fun and progression feels just right for the amount of chapters they have so far. (3 atm. Heard it was 1 new one per week.) Can't wait for more of the story to unfold. Game will most likely get a 5 star from me if they fix the controls.
