Unable to read picture No matter how I take the picture of the check, this app is unable to read the image. Every single one turns out blurry, even if it looks good when the picture is taken. Totally unusable!
Worst I wish this want the only way to deposit American checks into my account. It doesn't work and the "tech support" had no idea how it works. User another bank. One in the US.
Just barely useable with enough skill you should be able to make this app work. Just barely. I have to use it on a regular basis and it makes me frustrated every day. The pictures don't focus properly and it takes me 3 to 5 minutes to get one check to submit. When the app loads it gives me a unfortunately this app has stopped notice 3 to 5 times then finally I can log in. All in all if you want to spend more time submitting the check via the app then driving to the bank and waiting in line, you should get this app.
Oh no you broke it! Worked awesome on my s3. Now that I got a new s4 and reset the id on the phone, it crashes every time I take a picture. Please fix it for the s4...
The worst It doesn't work even remotely well. Crashes every time you take a photo. I was hoping it would be a faster and easier alternative to scanning at home. NOT A CHANCE. Very frustrating when there are no valid ATMs for deposit anywhere close.
Please Fix Users having trouble logging in: You can't use your RBC username/password. You need to create a new one at the US Remote Deposit website (and then calling a number) Once logged in, at least on my phone, you take a picture of the cheque and it hangs endlessly. "Please Wait" it reads and 20 minutes later it is still hanging. Unusable app. It's ridiculous. An easy, temporary solution would be to have the website allow you to submit photos of your cheques, rather than needing to hook up a scanner directly.
