The app has not worked properly since these last few updates. Updated again today, the same. App content goes blank, re-install messages and music stops playing when minimized. App asks for background settings, even though they are already turned on. Content is excellent and I am now using the browser version instead. Updates should be rolled back. As it stands now, app is no longer reliable. 😔

Mixcloud has been unresponsive to messages. The app was basically decent, but it suddenly has been freezing/crashing incessantly. I uninstalled/reinstalled it 4 or 5 times which didn't help. Mixcloud posted a "fix" which involves making several changes to user device settings and preferences. None of them worked. Why am I making changes to accommodate this app that suddenly stopped working properly after an Android OS update? Mixcloud needs to fix this. Not the users. Update the app.

UPDATE: Issues with screens/playlists not loading has been fixed but issues with playback persist. Music cuts out every 1-2 minutes with an "unknown error". You need to manually open the app and hit play again to resume. App has been almost unusable for the past few months, dispite any attempts at bug-fixing via various updates. Devs should roll-back to a stable (working) release and iron out the issues with the current version in their beta program.
