Background service not working. If it wasn't for that I'd be great. EDIT: Its not fixed. Same problem service just craps out. Funny thing is, it's still active, taking up RAM and using CPU, its just not connected to the server and does nothing on the network. Pretty sure its the Galaxy Wifi power saving mode you don't deal with. Going to try TCP still, its a bug either way.
An incredibly unintuitive SIP client. Coming from CSipSimple and Zoiper, I found adding accounts extremely frustrating and complicated. With so many extra options, you would think the settings should not lack anything. Yet, I am still unable to find the "Authentication User" settings. Disappointing.
This app let's me register to my sip account...I have tried other sip softphones out there, but none of them worked out...my isp blocks udp... I hope there is a way to hear special information tones, real ringtones, and other messages heard if the call wasn't successful ...
I use this connected to my own VoIP server at home. I used Zoiper for a long time, but have found MizuDroid to run a lot faster, and to hold much better call quality, as well as run lighter in the background. On changing from wifi to mobile and vice versa it is VERY quick to re-register, almost instant. The messaging part of the app works quite well, however it appears to use the same popup on messaging and voice, so if you're doing something else, the popup of a message comes up to the front every time, rather than just being a notification.
An update, not so great. Consumes about 60℅ CPU when idle and really hits the battery. Great softphone. Excellent voice quality and low latency. Had previously thought my phone or asterisk was of poor quality, turned out it was Zoiper. This is so much better
