About this app

MizuDroid is a free, unlocked, professional SIP softphone to be used with any SIP server / any VoIP provider. No ads.

The app doesn't include any VoIP service. You are free to configure it to be used with any SIP server or service provider.

Note1: You will need to have a SIP account to be able to use this softphone and calls to mobile/landline phones might cost you money. See your VoIP service provider for the exact terms and pricing.

Note2: The softphone service might try to run in the background and request to ignore battery optimizations only if push notifications are impossible in your network, for example if your SIP server is on private IP and doesn't support push notifications.

-The VoIP phone can be used with any VoIP service provider, any softswitch or PBX, including Asterisk, voipswitch, 3CX, Cisco, FreePBX, Elastix, OpenSIPS and others.
-Compatible with all IP phones and SIP dialers such as Acrobits, Bria, Linphone, Zoiper or CSipSimple
-Works on any network above 12 kbits (3G, 4G, LTE, 5G, WiFi, others).
-Not another csipsimple/sipdroid clone (SIP client stack made by Mizutech from scratch based on Mizutech AJVoIP SIP and media stack for Java)
-Free for non-commercial usage. No advertisements.

-Auto adapt to your environment (device/CPU/network/server and peers capabilities)
-Minimal CPU and battery usage. App file size is below 7 MB and contains all SIP signaling and media features.

Mi A2-lite. Android One (Q} Works fine with one sip account. If you have two providers it switches accounts around. Both may initially work but eventually an account stops working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still have the same problem. I think there is a config file/folder that needs to be deleted but I can't find it. App has a boat load of settings but navigation is a bit confusing. 3.5 stars.

We made a few improvements for multi-account handling in the latest release.

It worked great a couple years ago, but recent changes have made it unusable for me I used MizuDroid for testing phone systems I manage, so I need multiple accounts. It still supports that, but has become less intuitive and more difficult to configure. Also, it no longer authenticates to any of the phone systems I manage: CUCM and FortiVoice. I've tried on two different Android devices, so it's not one device or PBX version. Also, the app nagging me to enable foreground service for incoming calls-- when I do not use it for normal calling-- every time I try to use the app ticks me off.

Can you send a log when it don't authenticates? Details: https://www.mizu-voip.com/Support/Wiki/tabid/99/Default.aspx?topic=Android+logs To disable the foreground service permission, just set the "Run in background" option to "No".

Full-featured SIP client. Worked well with a single SIP account. Completely broken after I added a second account. It seems to have mixed up the credentials and wouldn't register with either server. It also appears to have sent my credentials to their proxy without warning me, so I now have to change my accounts' passwords to be safe. Not cool.

Credentials are not sent to us. Most probably you refer to the push proxy service which we provide for free, but the authentication is bypassed by this proxy to your server (SIP digest auth). Regarding the multi-accounts: we will review this and it will be fixed in the next release if there is any issue.
