About this app

MizuDroid is a free, unlocked, professional SIP softphone to be used with any SIP server / any VoIP provider. No ads.

The app doesn't include any VoIP service. You are free to configure it to be used with any SIP server or service provider.

Note1: You will need to have a SIP account to be able to use this softphone and calls to mobile/landline phones might cost you money. See your VoIP service provider for the exact terms and pricing.

Note2: The softphone service might try to run in the background and request to ignore battery optimizations only if push notifications are impossible in your network, for example if your SIP server is on private IP and doesn't support push notifications.

-The VoIP phone can be used with any VoIP service provider, any softswitch or PBX, including Asterisk, voipswitch, 3CX, Cisco, FreePBX, Elastix, OpenSIPS and others.
-Compatible with all IP phones and SIP dialers such as Acrobits, Bria, Linphone, Zoiper or CSipSimple
-Works on any network above 12 kbits (3G, 4G, LTE, 5G, WiFi, others).
-Not another csipsimple/sipdroid clone (SIP client stack made by Mizutech from scratch based on Mizutech AJVoIP SIP and media stack for Java)
-Free for non-commercial usage. No advertisements.

An incredibly unintuitive SIP client. Coming from CSipSimple and Zoiper, I found adding accounts extremely frustrating and complicated. With so many extra options, you would think the settings should not lack anything. Yet, I am still unable to find the "Authentication User" settings. Disappointing. Update: It must be incredibly difficult to get the app right. Toggling between different accounts will eventually lead to one of them being chosen as the main one. No way to switch to a different one after that, even when you try to delete the one set up (unless you uninstall the app and start from scratch !) The push is a hit and miss. Will only use for outbound calling.

Authentication User is the "Username" which is the very first setting (displayed on the first login/settings page). If your auth username is not the same with the username, you can set the username as "Caller ID". We know that multiple accounts is not polished and this part will be improved in the next release.

Complete waste of time for multiple accounts. If you go into advanced and click on accounts, it says there are no accounts. Cannot add another account even though they claim it supports multiple accounts. Junk.

Mi A2-lite. Android One (Q} Works fine with one sip account. If you have two providers it switches accounts around. Both may initially work but eventually an account stops working. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still have the same problem. I think there is a config file/folder that needs to be deleted but I can't find it. App has a boat load of settings but navigation is a bit confusing. 3.5 stars.
