-*- Metal detector -*- Works really well, with adjustable sensitivity. Vibrates and beeps when a metallic object is under the phone. Uses digital filter to eliminate noise. NOTE: Some metals (like aluminium) don't react to magnetic fields: this app won't detect them!
-*- Magnetic field detector -*- Shows a graph of the magnetic flux density on the X, Y and Z axis. All reading are in uT (microtesla). It also show the total magnetic flux density (R, white) and compares it to the earth magnetic field (30 uT, magenta).

The top number is the highest reading of the three axis'.
The three bar graphs show each axis separately. A green graph means the reading is positive (+) and a red graph means the reading is negative (-).
The program defaults to AutoRange when started and will select a range for the bar graphs based on the axis with the highest reading.
One of five manual ranges can also be selected. Selecting a low range and effectively "overloading" the bar graphs will not cause damage to your phone.
Accuracy of this software will vary from device to device and is not guaranteed. This software is intended for entertainment purposes only and not intended for use as a replacement for calibrated scientific instrumentation.

Measurement items are following four.
Intensity: Magnetic field strength in consideration of all of X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis ingredient
x-axis: Magnetic field strength of X-axis
y-axis: Magnetic field strength of Y-axis
z-axis: Magnetic field strength of Z-axis
The X axis is horizontal and points to the right, the Y axis is vertical and points up and the Z axis points towards the outside of the front face of the screen.
Unit is micro tesla[uT].

Accuracy of this application is dependent on the sensors installed in your device.
Failure of this application is indicative of the lack of functionality in your device.
For best results, remove external casing of your phone.

Please note: This app can only detect magnetic/electromagnetic fields and not all metals are magnetic (e.g. coins), thus your results may vary from metal to metal. If you use a phone case with any metal in it, then this may affect your readings. Nearby computers, TVs, fridges, etc. which contains magnetic fields and may interfere with your readings.
How to use:
- Set the alert level my moving the yellow pointer.
- Enable or disable vibration and sound alerts via the settings screen.
- Have fun finding metal!
The metal/magnetic field detector may require you to move your device close to the magnetic source (10-15cm) before a reading can be done.
The normal ambient magnetic field is around 49 micro tesla (µT).
If you experience very high or low deviations from this value:
1. Ensure that you are far away from any magnetic source that might disturb the magnetometer.
2. Calibrate the magnetometer by moving the device in a figure-8 pattern, first horizontally (with display facing upwards) and then vertically (with display facing your direction).
3. If you are still experiencing unusual magnetic field readings then this may be because of an improper magnetometer in your device.

TOOL 1: GOLD CHECKER
reveals highly conductive metals such as gold, silver and copper.
Electrical conductivity is a property of all metals, due to their electrons which are free to move and carry the electric charge, but there are metals much more conductive than others. Gold, even if it conducts less electricity than silver and copper, is with no doubt the best because it's not subject to oxidation.
We can use a capacitive touchscreen to detect the conductivity of a material, once put in contact with the surface of the screen!
Place the metal on the conductive platform and watch for electro static discharges. You can tell if's true gold or fake gold!
IMPORTANT! The functionality of this app is entirely dependent on the characteristics of your device's screen. Only capacitive screens can detect conductivity, not resistive screens.
TOOL 2: METAL DETECTOR
measures alterations of the magnetic field due to the presence of certain types of metals or magnets.
In the presence of a magnet or ferromagnetic materials such as iron or cobalt, the natural magnetic field is altered and can be detected with this instrument. Diamagnetic metals instead cannot be detected with this system, because they don't react to the presence of magnetic field.
The sensor measures the intensity of the magnetic field in the three directions of space, and its total strength. The functionality of this app is entirely dependent on the characteristics of the magnetic sensor of your device.
(You need a phone with a magnetic sensor onboard, for this app to work!)
Pole detection of permanent magnets.
How does it identify the north and south poles of a permanent magnet?
Simply press the yellow button and the tester is active for 5 seconds. Withinh those 5 seconds, place the tip of the phone (red mark) near the magnet's surface
If it's the South Pole, the Blue button will glow.
If it is the North Pole, the Red button will glow.
And if the button is pusehed and the phone is moved around the surface of the magnet....you can see the transition from one pole to another.
It can be used for rare earth magnets such as neodymium magnets, SmCo magnets, AlNiCo magnets, Ceramic magnets, refrigerator magnets and most other magnets.
