About this game

Cassino is the classic "fishing" card game with a long card-playing tradition in Europe and roots that trace back to early Italian games like Scopa. Despite the name, it has nothing to do with gambling or real-money casinos — it's a strategy card game played with a standard 52-card deck where each player tries to capture the most valuable pile of cards.

Each turn you play a card from your hand to capture one or more cards on the field that match its value, to build toward a capture you'll make next turn, or simply to play it to the field. Easy to pick up, surprisingly deep to master.

Cassino! is a single-player app where you play against AI opponents. Choose 1, 2, or 3 opponents at one of four difficulty levels — Easy, Medium, Hard, or Insane.

Features:
- Interactive tutorial: a hand-scripted practice game that walks you through every action, from matching captures to multiplying builds.
- Variations: play the Original rules (Royal + Draw), the Traditional ruleset (match face cards only 1 at a time), or build your own combination from many individual options including Sweep, Royal Aces (aces as 1 or 14), Royal 2 and 10, and Pirate.
- Replay mode: step back through your most recent game one move at a time with every player's hand revealed — a great way to study the AI's choices and sharpen your own.
- Statistics: wins and losses tracked separately for every combination of variation, player count, and difficulty.
- Settings: toggle sound effects and tune animation speed to match the pace you like.
